Welcome To Glad to be Conscious Radio
Some of the old
My heart goes out to all of the people who would have earned their daily living at the events that have been canceled, like the vendors at the Houston Rodeo, the Vendors at NBA games and NHL games, local restaurants, and hotels, etc. All of the businesses that benefit when games and conferences are in town have been drastically affected.
However, prevention is better than cure. I have tried to listen to allot the experts and they disagree on some things, but they all agree that our local Hospitals will not be able to handle a huge influx of people coming in sick because of the virus.
My heart is a little bit heavy today. We will not be with our Church Family. My Church has a tradition of dimming the lights as scripture is read. At the end of the service the entire sanctuary is dark and we can walk out in silence. I thank God for those memories because I can read scripture and remember this day that Believers have to be thankful for.
Remembering an old Bible verse…one of the first Bible verses I ever learned gives me comfort. I hope it gives you comfort too.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life
A reflection on Easter Sunday
Easter Sunday was just what I needed.
I am so excited about Episode 6. Here are somethings I talk about in this episode.
Things I talk about in this episode: I had such a weird dream the other day. I was at the bottom of the sea and there were dinosaurs fighting at the surface of the water. The funny thing is, I knew that I was dreaming and therefore, I could tell myself to wake up. I also talk about Mental Health and acceptance and some of the more fanciful dreams and goals that I have (VanLife or RVlife).
I am going to back to video versus audio. We will see how this goes. I hope you all are doing well.
