Ernest Final Journey

Earnest was a good friends and such a sweet guy.  I used to call him my BFG (Big Friendly Giant) and he would laugh and laugh. I will genuinely miss him.

Location: Allenstown, NH
Estimated Age: 8-11
Sex: Female
Race: White

On November 10, 1985 an unidentified child was found near an overturned 55 gallon metal barrel off a wooded trail adjacent to Bear Brook State Park in Allenstown. The child is estimated to be 8-11 years old with light brown to blonde wavy hair. The child was found with an adult female, estimated to be 22-33 years old, who also remains unidentified. This adult female is also Caucasian, stood between 5’2” – 5’8” tall and had light brown wavy hair. This adult female had been treated by a dentist in life as she had several dental fillings and 3 of her teeth had been extracted prior to her death. It’s estimated that both of these females died at the same time between 1978-1984. DNA has confirmed that both females are maternally related to each other, in addition to another unidentified child, a Caucasian girl 1-3 years old that was discovered on May 9, 2000 in the same wooded area of Allenstown in a second barrel. This third related child was also found with another Caucasian girl, 2-4 years old that remains unidentified, and it is unclear how she may be related to the other three victims. Advanced forensic testing suggest that the three related victims were possibly born and raised together in New Hampshire or one of the surrounding states. The image above is a facial reconstruction completed by a NCMEC Forensic Artist and depicts what she may have looked like in life.
